Air Compressor Intercooler / Compressor Aftercooler

Air Compressor Intercoolers and Aftercoolers are heat exchangers used to reduce the temperature of compressed air during or after the compression process. By lowering the discharge air temperature, the cooler helps to improve compressor efficiency, reduce moisture content, protect downstream equipment and maintain reliable operation of the compressed air system.

This heat exchanger type can be either air cooled or water cooled depending on the compressor design, operating condition and site requirement. FRHE can design and fabricate new or replacement Air Compressor Intercoolers and Aftercoolers based on existing drawings, samples, site measurements or required performance duties.

Our replacement coolers can be custom made to suit the original dimensions, connection details, material specifications and performance requirements of the existing cooler. Material selection can also be recommended based on the operating environment, cooling water quality, pressure, temperature and corrosion allowance required.
