Finned Tube Heat Exchanger

A finned tube heat exchanger utilizes finned tubes as the main heat transfer element. Air / Gas will pass flow outside the tubes where the heat transfer rate is increased due to the finned tubes and water will flow through the tubes. The flow arrangement can either be crossflow or counterflow.
